Hi, I’m Katie

I became a child life specialist because I believed every family deserved support during their child’s medical experiences. After a decade of seeing more and more families fall through the cracks without child life services, I started to build Child Life On Call. First as a podcast, then as an app, and now as a platform.

So I built Child Life On Call to scale what one CCLS could never do alone. Today that mission lives in a podcast with hundreds of thousands of downloads, a professional community for child life specialists, and a platform now reaching families through AngelEye Health.

I consult with healthcare organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and institutions building more family-centered experiences. I also speak at conferences, grand rounds, and leadership events on psychosocial care, family-centered practice, and scaling child life impact.
